Description

Project D.E.E.P. & The Blarney Stone Dorchester Day 5K. Each participant receives a wristband for a post-race BBQ! (Additional wristbands and merchandise available for purchase.) Music, awards and Dorchester Day parade immediately following race!

Proceeds benefit Project D.E.E.P. - Dorchester Educational Enrichment Program. A private non-profit community based educational program serving Dorchester middle school students through volunteers in a series of programs including indivualized mentoring, tutoring, exam prep and athletic summer camps.

Event details and schedule

This is a 5k Road Race through the streets of Dorchester. The race begins and ends at the Blarney Stone. Hang around after the race for the awards ceremony, cookout, and the Dorchester Day Parade. Award Categories: Male/Female: Overall, 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+ 1st Project DEEP Student to Finish Race First Dorchester Resident to Finish Race.

Awards will be given to all the top runners in each age group as well as the overall winners both male and female. The race will begin promptly at 12:00pm. Registration begins at 11am.
