Oldsmar Cares is proud to continue its annual "Honor Our Heroes" 5k Memorial Run this year on Saturday, 25 May 2024.  Joining the event this year is VFW Post 12186 in the City of Oldsmar. These two distinguished nonprofit organizations are serving together for a better community. All net proceeds from the event will directly support their efforts to serve local families, veterans, and the community.

Along with a fantastic group of sponsors and vendors this year is also Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC) and now Three Brothers NY Pizza helping to expand our afterparty!  You do not want to miss out.

The Race:  The opening ceremonies will begin at 7:15 am near Oldsmar City Hall.  The race will start at 7:30am with the participants being led down past the Veteran's Memorial Park and along the beautiful waters of upper Tampa Bay. This 5k (3.1 miles) is designed for everyone from competitive runners to casual joggers, pet walkers, and even some pushing their strollers.

The finish line will greet our finishers with beverages and food for everyone, along with a couple of beers provided by TBBC for those 21 years and older.

The Awards! Along with your race shirts and stuffed swag bags, we will present awards for the overall Male & Female winners.  As well as the top 3 finishers in each age bracket.  Brackets include ages 14 and under and then every five-year increments until 75 and over.

Your Race packets: Show up at TBBC during the times listed below to pick up your race shirt, bib numbers, event promotions, and more.

*  Please note:
- It can be challenging to pick up packets on race day.  Please take advantage of the early pickup and promotions from TBBC unless traveling from out of town. 
- There is an opportunity to sign up on the morning of race day. However, we cannot guarantee a full swag bag or any race shirts.
