Description
Cross Country Run or Walk
The 5K is held on a working three generation farm. Normally we have cattle and horses on the fields where you will park and start. The trails on this 5K are wide with water crossings and pass through wonderful woodlands and a beautiful open valley. Walkers and Runners of all ages are welcome to attend. You can either set a PR (personal record) for the course or walk at a leisurely pace. The 5K proceeds will be donated to the ALS ASSOCIATION. ALS is the disease that ultimately took the life of Winfall's lead farmer, husband, dad, grandfather and know it all, Bill Woodbury. The members of the family welcome you to the farm to run or walk in honor of Bill and enjoy the beautiful Virginia countryside.
