Care for Cops Run/Walk 5k 

 

Care for Cops is a non-profit organization that has provided financial assistance to over 100 families of fallen Georgia officers since 1999. Care for Cops sends checks directly to families that have lost a loved one in the line of duty. We help provide immediate resources in a time of great need, bridge the financial gap when a loved one is lost, and acknowledge the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers in Georgia. Date: Saturday, September 14, 2024, Start time 8:00 AM , you have till 10 AM to finish.

Location: Suwanee Town Center (packet pick up and Start/Finish)

Peachtree Road Race Certified Qualification Course

Early packet pick-up: September 13, 2024, Friday at Big Peach from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Late Registration:  You can still sign up online or sign up at packet pick up and on the day of the race.

Medals for the top 3 in each age group for both male and female, age categories 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Masters for both Male and Female for the top 2 and Overall Winner Male and Female

Prizes, T-shirts,  Music, and Photos by True Speed Photography

We dedicate Care for Cops 5k to all our heroes and their families who have sacrificed their lives to serve and protect us.  When you register, please leave a comment in the Comments Section, about why you are participating in this event and if you have a personal connection to a fallen officer.  Thank you!

 

 

FAQs

When and where does the race take place? Suwanee Town Center Park

How long is the course?  A 5K is 3.1 miles

Course Map?  Interactive Course Map

How will I be timed?  You will be chip-timed by Performance Race Services.  Your results will be reached within seconds after you finish. 

How will I receive my results? Your results will be live on-site and also available on this registration page under the results tab within a few seconds of finishing.

When and where do I pick up my registration materials? September 13, 2024, Friday at Big Peach from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Race Day, September 14, 2024, starting at 7:00 am at Registration on stage

Who gets a T-shirt?  All if you sign-up by September 1, 2023

Can I sign up at packet pick-up or on the day of the race?  Yes, you can!  The same price $35

Can I participate with a stroller or Bike?  Strollers are allowed but not bicycles

I am not able to participate. Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your race registration. We are unable to issue refunds. We are not able to credit your credit card or issue checks.
