Join us at  - SANDY CREEK PARK - ATHENS, GA for the in-person 5K and Fun Run.  Both events will be run inside the park with little to no traffic.  Walkers and Strollers are welcome.

The Virtual event takes place between February 20th and February 26th.  Please submit finish times for the Virtual event no later than 12 noon on February 26th to this link:  http://tiny.cc/22StJoesJogTimes  

Event details and schedule

Early packet pickup: Will be held on Friday, February 25th from 2PM to 6PM at St. Joseph Catholic School Gym at 958 Epps Bridge Parkway.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 9AM at Sandy Creek Park.

Fun Run: Starts at 10:30AM

5K: Starts at 11AM

5K In-Person Awards: Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female - PLUS - 3 Deep in standard 5 year age groups!  All Fun Runners get an award.

Virtual Event:  You may run your 3.1 miles or 1-mile anywhere you like between February 20th and Februay 26th.  5K runners will receive a finishers medal. Please submit finish times by 12-noon on February 26th to http://tiny.cc/22StJoesJogTimes.  Times submitted after 12-noon will not be included in the results.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classiconestop.com, www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com 

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 2/10/22.  Those who register after that date are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2022 Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
