Ernest Hemingway fell in love with Key West and so did we.  In our passion to have fun and bring a bit of Key West’s carefree vibe to Melbourne, we’ve decide to do our own version of a Zero K run the only way we know how: with RUM!  Come be part of the Adventure of the first-ever Zero K Rum Run in Melbourne, FL, sponsored by Hemingway’s Tavern and Running Zone.

The course is about 400 feet.  Runners will gather at southeast end of the Oaks Plaza parking lot where the grass field is located. Hydration stations will be set up at the exit of the grassy area of the course and at the finish line.  Rum Runners will be available to hydrate with for our Rum Run runners 21 years and older at these stations.

Awards will be announced at 4:40 PM at the stage located inside Hemingway’s Food, Wine and Rum Festival event area located at the finish line in the Oaks Courtyard adjacent to Hemingway’s Tavern.

The end of run is the kickoff to the Hemingway’s Food, Wine and Rum Festival where the Rum Run runner will have the opportunity begin the Adventure of food and drinks at the Hemingway Food, Wine and Rum Festival early with their run packages, prior to the event opening to the public at 5:00 PM.
