ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. There is no cure for ALS yet. Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with the disease and someone passes away from it.” - ALS Assoc.

Welcome to our first “See You At The Finish Line.” We hope to make this an annual event! We invite everyone (runners & walkers!!) to come out to support and raise awareness for the disease. This race and all fundraising efforts will be dedicated to Becky DiGangi, a member of the Anniston Running Club, who was diagnosed with ALS in January of 2021. Becky and her family would like to initially thank each participant for their presence and support. To stay up to date with Becky’s journey, you can follow her video journal by clicking HERE.

Medals will be given to the top 3 overall male, and top 3 overall female participants. There will also be one overall winner of each age group.

A generous amount of door prizes given out the day of.

Register by February 5th to confirm a race shirt. There will hopefully be enough extra for those that register after 2/5, but this (along with size) is not guaranteed.
