Come out to the 18th ANNUAL BARROW BOOGIE 5K and FUN RUN!

Event details and schedule

Early packet pickup: Friday 2/25/22 at Barrow Elementary School from 3PM to 6PM.

Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 7:00AM  

Race day registration closes at 8:15am

Fun Run: Starts at 8:30AM

5K Race: Starts at 9AM 

Course: The race will start and finish at Barrow Elementary The 5K winds through Athens scenic 5 Points area while the fun run will be comprised of two loops around the school.

Awards:  Awards will be given to overall male/female, masters male/female and grandmasters male/female. Also the top three in 5-year age groups.  Fun Run: Top 3 male and female trophies (ages 12 and under only) and to the top three in each of the fun run age divisions. Trophies to the top 3 boys and girls (age 12 and under) and to the top three in each of the fun run age divisions. Participation awards will be given to all of the fun run finishers.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 2/14/22.  Those who register after that date and on race day will receive shirts while supplies last.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classiconestop.com,  www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2022 Black Bag Race Series and the Clover Glove Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
