Get your ugly Christmas sweaters and running shoes ready! Anytime Fitness is sponsoring its 1st annual Ugly Sweater 5K! The proceeds of the event will be donated to Family Promise a local Charity that helps keep families together and housed.  Never run/walked/crawled a 5K before? No worries. We've got you covered!

The event starts at Shenandoah County Park on December 26, 2021, at 8:00 am (check-in starts at 7:30 am) and takes you through the entire park. Be sure to wear your ugliest Christmas sweater! From there, we'll run/jog/walk through the park! We'll have signs and volunteers guiding you along the way.  We will have music, pictures with Santa, a bake sale, hot coco, T-shirts to purchases, and an award ceremony.  

"I have children who want to run but I think a 5K is too long for them." No worries! There will be an alternative shorter run for kids! Registration is only $10 for kids under the age of 12, which includes a free dumbbell stress ball (if registered by December, 15 2021).

"I want to run/walk the 5K but I don't have anyone to watch my children." AF has you covered! Our passion for fitness leaves no one out, bring your strollers and little ones along and do the 5k together! 

"I want to participate, but I'm not able to make it on December 26th." No worries! You can walk/jog/run on your own. You choose the course (this can be on a treadmill, around your neighborhood, through the woods...it's up to you!); you choose the date or join in on December 26, 2021 (sort of--the 5K should be complete by December 26th); you choose your pace, and you choose your attire. The uglier and wackier the "sweater," the better! You'll be spreading holiday cheer as you run, and you can upload your 5k photos to our Facebook page @AFWoodstock! Sounds fun, right? As long as you register by December 15th 2021, you'll get a free dumbbell as well.

"I'm not able to participate but I'd like to make a donation." We have a DONATE section on our website! Sponsors (individuals, families, and businesses) will be mentioned during our awards ceremony.

Runners & Walkers in the Ugly Sweater 5K will receive a prize, and  finisher's medal!
