Medved's Merrier Games (FREE!)

Our special brand of seasonal nonsense returns with the Christmas-themed Merrier Games on Thursday, December 14, 2023!  

We are excited to be gaming from our home court of Medved Running & Walking Outfitters for our next running Holiday Scavenger Hunt and that Brooks will be joining in the fun!   

Game day check in will open at 5:30 PM and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM. Team captains should have completed check in by 6 PM.

Teams of 5 -10 (new this time, the most a team can have is ten participants) will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy five minutes. Half scavenger hunt, half adventure race, extra nonsense, total fun!

Only Team Captains are required to register for their team, please be sure to include the Team Name and Team Captain contact information.  The Captain will be required to have all team participants sign the waiver form at the Merrier Games check-in on game day.  The Team Captain will also be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games.

Don't have a team? No problem, sign up as a Free Agent and we will form a Free Agent team.

Game Rules:

• A choose your own adventure scavenger hunt, runners will earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges.
• You will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at Merrier Games check-in on game day.
• To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook page.  Please make sure you are a member of this group prior to game day!
• Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time.  Any posts after this time will not count.
• All participants are required to follow traffic, pedestrian, and social distancing guidelines at all times.
• Headlamps & Reflective gear are required.

Bonus Points:

• Earn bonus points by bringing an new, unwrapped toy donation for The Pirate Toy Fund.
• Earn bonus points by dressing up in Christmas costume!
• Earn bonus points by wearing Brooks gear/shoes to the Games!
