Description

Come join us in Elberton, GA for the 19th Annual Twilight Stroll by the Granite Bowl 5K or 10K.  The start is in front of Norman's Automotive Shop, 10 E. Church Street. The finish is in front of the Granite Bowl.  This year the 5K and 10K will begin at the same time.  Runners may choose which race to register for.  ALL RUNNERS IN THE 10K MUST BE ABLE TO WALK/RUN A 13 MINUTE MILE.

Event details and schedule

Registration and packet pickup begin at 5PM at the Elbert Arts Center behind the Elbert Theater

5K and 10K both begin at 6:00pm  The 10K will be two loops of the 5K course.

Awards, Shirts and Goodies:  Special Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in standard 5-year age groups.  Long Sleeved shirts are guaranteed to those who pre-register and will be given out while supplies last to race day registrants.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com.

Course: The entire course is run on paved streets in the downtown area of Elberton, GA.  It will be dark so flashlights, headlamps, reflective vests or other items to you see or be seen are encouraged.  The 10K is two loops of the 5K.

Series Affiliation:  The races are part of the 2022 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
