37th Annual Run New Prague Half Marathon/Relay, 10k, 5k, and Kids Fun Run

Join us for our Run New Prague event on May 7, 2022. It's the 37th Annual New Prague Half Marathon!  

This year Run New Prague will offer a hybrid option with both in-person and virtual opportunities. 

Half Marathon
The Half Marathon begins in Memorial Park at 8:00 AM. This is our 37th Annual Half Marathon.  The in-person race has a professional Pace team pacing it, so be sure to find information at packet pick-up regarding the pacers.  They will help you achieve your goals!  The New Prague Half Marathon is USATF Certified! The top 3 finishers in the half marathon will receive a place medal. We do 5 year age groupings. All finishers will receive a finisher medal.

Half Marathon Relay
The Half Marathon Relay will consist of teams of 3 working together to complete the half marathon course, with each runner completing about 1/3 of the total distance. There will be 2 check points located along the course and a shuttle available to bring runners to the start of each check point and back to the finish line in Memorial Park. Half marathon relay participants will receive a finisher medal. 

10k
The 10K race begins at 8:15 AM a short distance from Memorial Park. Packet pick-up and same-day registration are available in Memorial Park the day of the race.  A portion of the race is run on gravel, so please be aware of a change in the course. The top 3 finishers in the 10K will receive a place medal. We do 5 year age groupings. All finishers will receive a finisher medal.

5k
The 5K race begins at 8:30 AM in Memorial Park. Check out the new route here --> NEW_5K_Route_Map.pdfThe top three finishers of the 5K in the following age groupings will receive medals:  12-under, 13-15, 16 -18. All finishers will receive a finisher medal.

Kids Fun Run Color Run
The Kids Fun Run is two separate distances.  Kids can run a half-mile loop or two laps for a one-mile loop of Memorial Park. The Kids Fun Run takes place at 9:30 AM in Memorial Park, with kids lining up 15 minutes prior near the log cabin. Look for signage indicating where your child should line up. NEW IN 2022! The Kids Fun Run is now a Color Run! Kids will have fun running through a rainbow of colored powder for a more colorful experience.

Adults can run along with their child(ren), or cheer them on from the sidelines.  Only paid registrants will receive a t-shirt.
