A fun, family-friendly event featuring race distances for everyone. Have no fear! Although this is an all-ages event, we are very serious about providing a well-run, organized event that starts on time! We space the 5K Open so that we can finish the youth races and start the 5K exactly at 3:00pm. This event serves as the season finale for our youth cross country team, but is open to the public and all ages. Races include a 100m dash and 400m run (both on grass), and 1K, 1.5 mile (middle school championship distance), and 5K.New course for the 5K, run on over 95% grass and trails.  Participants can choose one race only. The various race distances are not age-specific, and are provided so that anyone can choose a distance they are comfortable running. Each race will run in one co-ed heat. Commemorative ribbons for all youth participants 14 and under, medals for top 15 boys and top 15 girls in the 1.5 mile race, commemorative wood medals for all 5K participants, and trophies for top male and female three-person teams.
