Welcome to our 4th Soctoberfest! This is our second 5k/1 Mile Beer Run, we are so excited! We heard you last time and we are happy to be partnering with Abilene Running Company to bring you recorded race times with chipped bibs!

Early registration will be through midnight on Monday, September 27th, 2021. 

 

Late registration will be through race time on October 1, 2021.

 

Race Day Reminders:

 

This is West Texas, so be prepared for any type of weather. Race cancellations due to inclement weather will be at the discretion of the Abilene Sports Alliance. No refunds will be available for the cancellation of event.

 

Registrants after September 25th, 2021 will not be guaranteed preferred t-shirt size.

 

Registrants after October 1st, 2021 will not be guaranteed timing.

If you plan on drinking during or immediatey after the race, please bring a valid ID with you.

Soctoberfest 5k/1 Mile Beer Run Schedule:

8:30 A.M. • Registration & Sign in for Soctoberfest 5k/1 Mile Beer Run– Oak Street next to Sockdolager Brewing Co.

9:30 A.M. • Soctoberfest 5k/1 Mile Beer Run Begins

10:30 A.M. • Sockdolager Brewing Co. opens to 5k/1 Mile participants

10:45 A.M. • Timed Recordings by Abilene Running Company

Please park at Taylor County Courthouse located at 300 Oak St. Abilene, Texas 79602.

Please bring a photo government issued ID if you plan on consuming adult beverages. 

We will start the race promptly at 9:30 a.m.
