The Atascocita High School Marine Corps JROTC Program is proud to host the Eighth Annual AHS Zombie Fun Run on October 30, 2021.  The course is set up on the grounds at Atascocita High School with wooded trails, obstacles, and is infested with Zombies.  For the bravest of the living.  This fun 5K is sure to get your heart racing! We welcome runners to dress up in costumes to make it a fun experience for all!

As a runner you have to run/walk the course and survive by avoiding the Zombies trying to steal your “life” flags.  Your goal is to make it to the finish line with at least one flag remaining.   

All runners must register for the event.   All participants will receive a race bib, and event shirt.  Registration is limited, so sign up early.  Awards will be given for individuals placing 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in each heat.  T-Shirt guaranteed  with registrations received by October 15th. 

The Zombie Fun Run was created to benefit the JROTC Program.  The mission of the Marine Corps Junior ROTC is to instill a value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment.   Your participation and contribution is greatly appreciated. 

We are bringing back the Trick or Treat Trail for your little ones.  They can dress up in their costumes and receive candy by "not scary" characters!!  Fun for the whole family!

Event details and schedule

We invite you to dress in your Halloween Costumes and come out with the whole family. The Zombie Run is for everyone ages five and up. However, the Trick or Treat Trail is for pre-schoolers!

The event starts at 9 AM with individual heats at 9:00 (Elementary only), 10:00, 10:30, 11:00 AM.  The course is outdoors at the Atascocita High School and is fun and challenging at the same time.  Arrive 30-45 minutes before your heat and park in the rear of the High School.  If you have not signed an electronic waiver, you will be asked to sign one at the school prior to running.  Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared for a fun event while sponsoring the cadets of the AHS MCJROTC!
