After looong months of solo training … the annual Atlanta Oktoberfest Run is back!

This year, Americans, Germans and Germany-fans, competitive and leisure runners, in jerseys, Lederhosen or Dirndl, Oktoberfestlers, families, corporate team, business owners and students will run the streets of Atlanta again to celebrate the famous German Oktoberfest tradition with a 5k.

The race route begins and ends on the Beltline & the Atlanta Skate Park - location of the 2021 Atlanta Oktoberfest - and leads through Old Fourth Ward neighborhoods. 

9:00 am kick off with stretching and music

9:30 am race begin

Awards ceremony immediately following at the finish line 

Light snacks and hydration is provided. 

 

Stay for the traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest keg tap ceremony at 12 noon and enjoy the Atlanta Oktoberfest, Bratwurst, Brezeln, Bier, Music and Fun. 

 

The best female and male runners in a variety of age categories will receive prizes ranging from high performance running shoes to German fare and Oktoberfest goodies.

Parking is available at the Skate Park and surrounding areas. Complete race instructions will be emailed to you prior to the event.
