Description

This will be the 62nd running of the Great River Road Run. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person this year! The course is an out and back on the beautiful Great River Road. You run five miles out with the towering bluffs on one side and the mighty Mississippi River on the other. You can take your pick of a challenging 10 mile race or the shorter but just as beautiful 5k. The race starts and finishes in historic downtown Alton, IL. There are many restaurants, shops and antique shops to check out. Also, the race falls on small business Saturday with artisan vendors set up to share their wares!

Come and spend a bright and brisk Saturday after Thanksgiving in Historic Alton, IL.

Race day info for the 62nd Great River Road Run...

Race Day Registration begins at 8am at Mac's Time Out on Belle St., Alton, IL

Races begin at 10am

The course is an out and back on the scenic Great River Road Run, starting at State St. and Broadway.

Packet pick up is also at Mac's Time Out.

Parking is available along the city streets and there are a few parking lots.

Dress acording to the weather that day.
