Description

Approximately 250 people of all ages participate in this event which begins and ends at Charlottesville Catholic School, located at 1205 Pen Park Road.  On-site registration is available beginning at 7:00 a.m., although runners are encouraged to register through the race site on RunSignUp.com.

The run route begins at the school parking lot, turning right on to the right-of-way of Pen Park Road and then another immediate right on to park property.  A certified flag person will be stationed where the Charlottesville Catholic School driveway intersects with Pen Park Road.  Runners then proceed to the cart path of Meadowcreek Golf Course.  All runners are off the cart path in less than 30 minutes, or before 8:30 a.m.  From the cart path, runners move on to the Nature Trail that encircles part of the golf course, emerging onto the park parking lot road, past the tennis courts to Pen Park Road.  A a certified flag person will be positioned at the intersection of the parking lot road and Pen Park Road.  Runners will cross Pen Park Road at this intersection and finish the race on the right-of-way of Pen Park Road back to the Charlottesville Catholic School driveway.  Post run activities are finished by 10:00 a.m.
