Each Moment We're Alive is happy to present our 3rd ANNUAL #CaninesFurCancer Support Walk at the Irish Cultural Center of Western Mass. The walk will be on Friday, June 24, 5:00-9:00 pm.  Due to Covid-19, Our 2020 walk had to convert to a virtual platform in effort to keep all our participants safe and healthy. In 2021 we went to hybrid platform where you could attend in person, or walk where you want. All money raised supports Each Moment We're Alive (EMWA).

Each Moment We’re Alive, Inc., a non profit actively engaged in supporting women to move beyond their cancer diagnosis.  A resounding number of patients are left wondering how to go on with their lives, after their energy and health has been depleted, along with their emotional and financial resources. Many cancer organizations focus on research and comfort during active treatment, and we have seen that our work fills a huge gap

How To Participate: The world is your [dog’s] oyster! While maintaining a safe distance from others, you can join us at the Irish Cultural Center or choose your own path on Friday, June 24 Take lots of photos and videos of all the smiles and sniffs along the way, and share them with us on social media using #CaninesFurCancer.

• Enter your information


• Choose your event (Choose which Registration $ you want) - Continue


• READ WAIVER.... Check waiver agreement box. Click ACCEPT (This must be clicked to continue) - Continue


• Select YOUR Available Option  *Tote Bag, Bandana, Tshirt - Continue


• Select a fundraiser animal if you choose to add a donation towards their fundraising efforts (not necessary to continue)
  
  • Registration fees cannot be assigned to a doggie fundraiser
  
  


• Custom Amount is to donate an additional amount in addition to your registration fees. (not required)


• Choose  "On Behalf of"/"In Support of"/"In Memory of"   


• Choose "My Name, Anonymous or OTHER (Enter name) - Continue


• You have option of purchasing an additional tshirt  (Sizes are available first come during pick up on June 21)

Event Activities: 

There will be a bucket raffle with many prizes, vendors, a photo bench and games. Food and beverages provided by the Irish Cultural Center will also be available for purchase.

  Can I participate if I don’t have Cancer or I’m not a Cancer Survivor?   
  
  • ABSOLUTELY, ALL ARE WELCOME, you don’t have to have cancer or be a cancer survivor to participate in our Canines Fur Cancer Support Walk.
  
  


• 
  Can I participate without a canine?
  
  • Of course!  Canines Fur Cancer welcomes all human walkers, with or without a canine companion. There will be plenty of cute canines “begging” for your attention. Because canines are cute, canines need/love walks, walking is great exercise, walking with others is even greater & walking with canines for a cause is super great. 
  
  


• 
  Can I participate if I don’t live in Western MA?
  
  • Yes!!!  The benefit of our Hybrid Canines Fur Cancer Support Walk is, that you can participate no matter where you are; Massachusetts, New England, Connecticut, New York, across the country or across the globe; just register at www.caninesfurcancer.org & join us Sunday, June 27th from 11 AM-3 PM.  Remember to follow all COVID-19 safety requirements of your walk area.

  Do I have to fundraise?
  
  • You’re not obligated to fundraise for our Canines Fur Cancer Support Walk, though it helps & it’s easy.  Our fundraisers are the canines (& non-canines) who support our survivors.  Humans can register themselves or a favorite non-human & fundraise through your contacts via text, email, distribute event signs & social media; Facebook & Messenger, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube & so on & so on & so on…Top fundraisers receive a gift basket on walk day.
