Description

Come join us for the 2nd Annual Kiwanis 5K Spring Classic! The route is flat and fast, and a Peachtree Qualifier! Those running at home can not use this race as a PTQ.  The race is sponsored by the Madison Kiwanis Club with all proceeds to be given back to children's organizations in our local community!

At home Option: Run your 3.1 miles at home any day between March 13 and March 20. Submit your finish time to: http://tiny.cc/KiwanisSpringClassicTimes . Finish times must be submitted by 12 noon on Saturday, March 20. Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards and will be placed at the end of your age group for series points. T-Shirts will be mailed if $5.00 postage is included and registration form is received by March 4, 2021

Event details and schedule

Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30AM

5K: Starts at 8:30AM

Awards: Overall Male and Female and age group awards will be given.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classiconestop.com, www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to in-person runners who register by 3/12/21. Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size. There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2021 Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
