Description

You don't want to miss being part of this awesome, inaugural event!

5K & 10K: Begin your chip-timed road race in Old Town Palestine, in the park behind the famous Oxbow Bakery. The route takes you by many other points of interest including historic homes, the Anderson County Courthouse, the Texas Theater, Eilenberger's Bakery, downtown, and more! Enjoy some of the best of Palestine in this 3.1 loop! We welcome you no matter your pace... There is a generous time limit, allowing family and friends to walk the course together! Children who participate in the 5K/10K must stay with a parent or guardian. Strollers are welcome!

Kids K: Children 11 and under will have an opportunity to run a race as well! The course will be a total of 0.62 mi (0.31 mi out and back), starting at the Oxbow Bakery. One parent or teen per child is welcome to join them free of charge on the course during the race. Each child will receive a Kids K finisher medal, different from the 5K/10K medal, plus there will be an award for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!

GIVING BACK: A portion of our proceeds will fund the planting of new dogwood trees in Davey Dogwood Park!
