Description

The 9th annual Oak Mountain Color Run is held in loving memory of Donald R. Ellison and Susan A. Powers. This event is held on one of the most beautiful trails in Alabama's largest state park. All proceeds go directly to cancer research with the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.

Need to know:

  Park entrance fee:
  
  • $5 per Adult (age 12+)
  • $2 per Child (age 4 to 11)
  • $2 per Senior (age 62+)
  • Free for ages 3 & under
• There will be signs directing you to registration the morning of the event. Signs will be set up from both entrances to the park.
• 
  8:00-8:45 am Registration
• 
  8:50 am Opening Ceremonies
• 
  9:00 am Oak Mountain Color Run Begins!
• 
  10:00 am Fun Run Begins!
• There will be booths and refreshments at the conclusion of the race

What to wear:

• You will be getting paint on you during the run (non-toxic, washable). If you pre-register you will have the option to purchase additional items including an official OMCR T-shirt or you may bring your own white shirt to wear. There will be a limited quantity of shirts available for sale at the event. 
• Due to Covid-19 regulations, we ask that you wear a mask to the event. Once the race begins, you will be able to remove your mask. We do ask that you wear your mask again, once the race is over. 
• Please mainatin social distancing before and after the race.
