Description

This is the 15th year that we have hosted the Yellow Jacket 5K/1Mile. The course has been USATF certified for 10 years and this will be the last year of the certification. This will also be the last year that we are hosting the run. We encourage all who have run before, especially those who have run Cross Country with Coach Broadhead, to come run this event with us.

These runs are to benefit the Cross Country team of Wayne County High School.

5K Course is USATF Ceritfied!!  GA11003WC. Come set a State record for your age group!

Event details and schedule

Registration will begin at 8:00AM. The 1 mile will begin at 8:30, the 5K at 9AM. Awards ceremony will be shortly after the 5K ends. 

5K Course/1 Mile Course:  Flat course starting and finishing at Jaycee Stadium, 1355 W. Orange St., Jesup GA, 31545.

T-Shirts:  short sleeved t-shirtswill be guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and as available on race day.

Awards: Ribbons will be given to all runners under the age of 12 in the Buzz Run.  In the Buzz Run, an award will be given to the Overall Male and Female. In the 5K, awards will be given in the following age groups: Overall male/female, Masters male/female and top three in age groups 10 & under to 70 & over in 10 year age ranges. Results will be posted at www.active.com
