Hop for Hope 5k/10k/1 mile 2021 The Remix

Description

We are so happy to be able to host our Hop for Hope race event this year!  There will be some changes...social distancing will be maintained and masks will be worn, but fun will still be had.

We decided that since we didn't get to hold our event in 2020 that the theme for this year would be "2020 The Remix".  Come dressed in your best 80's running gear and join us for a super fun family event.  

We offer a 5K/10K run (or walk) and 1 mile walk (or run) on a certified course in Akron...right in the heart of the Cuyahoga National Park!  Bring the family and enjoy this great event, get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny and support local families.

All funds raised go directly back to local families in Northeast Ohio who are struggling with their fight against Hodgkin's lymphoma and/or leukemia.

Race bibs and t-shirts for pre-registered participants will be available for pickup on Thursday, April 8th and Friday, April 9, 2021 from 3-6 pm at 1832 Akron Peninsula Rd.

Each pre-registered participant will receive a custom event race t-shirt and a semi-custom race medal but you must be pre-registered by March 5, 2021 to guarantee a race t-shirt.

Prizes awarded to the top 3 female and top 3 male finishers! Unfortunately due to Covid-19, there will be no post race refreshments other than bottled water.
