THANK YOU for your interest in Jingle for Janet 5K Run/3K Walk and raising $ for research via the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation! Cholangiocarcinoma is an increasingly common form of cancer that took the life of longtime Waterford Mom Janet Parker in 2018. This fundraiser has already raised over $35,000 for cause and cure research paid directly to the foundation. See: https://cholangiocarcinoma.org/

JFJ is both virtual and on-site at Waterford Union High School (611 West Main Street, Waterford, WI).  Kids and families are most welcome! The on-site Start and Finish are both in the upper parking lot on the west side of the High School building. Holiday music will launch our spirits as we ready ourselves for some good old fashioned Christmas neighborhood cheer!

Everyone will get bells to ring as we make our way around the course and all are welcome to dress in their best Christmas spirit wear, but not required :-) 

5K ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON DECEMBER 21, 2023!  AFTER THAT THE ONLY 5K REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ON-SITE THE DAY OF THE RACE UP UNTIL 8:45AM. CASH OR CHECK FOR PAYMENTS ONLY FOR DAY-OF REGISTRATIONS. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY FOR DAY-OF REGISTRATIONS (NO LATER THAN 8:30).

T-shirts: t-shirts are available for ordering (while supplies last) during the online registration process and likely for on-site registrations while supplies last.

All on-site participants will pick up their packets on site before the race, please arrive early. Only 5K participants will get bib #'s and be timed.  Walkers will not be timed. Virtual (remote) runners-walkers will time themselves, if desired, at their own discretion.

The 5K is competitive using M & F mostly 10-year age groups (exceptions are: Under 11, 11-14, and 15-19). The on-site competitive race is the 5K and will start at 9AM on Saturday December 23rd at the high school. Medals to top 3 in age group! Results will be posted on Tracksidetiming.com.

The 3K is a non-competitive walk which always promises cool fresh air and Christmas charm! No times or places for the walk.

If you choose virtual (remote), please find a 3K or 5K route where you can complete the run or walk at your convenience. We have a social media site (Facebook) to post pictures again this year (link: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086930484699).
