Coral Glades High School DECA is hosting a Virtual 5k race in support of Good Karma Pet Rescue, a local animal rescue non-profit organization. Based in Ft. Lauderdale, they are wholeheartedly devoted to providing local dogs and cats with the love and affection they truly deserve. For the past 9 years of operation, it has since blossomed into a passionate, charitable community organization that also works with other shelters across Broward County to save animals that would otherwise be euthanized. Across South Florida, Good Karma Pet Rescue is seen as a salvation for pets, treating them with the utmost care and respect.

If you do not pay for registration through THIS LINK,  your race time will not be counted! You must register your name and personal information through this website, then use the link above to pay for your registration.

Now, what exactly is a virtual 5k and how does it work? A virtual race allows you to run (or walk) from your preferred location. You can choose to run, jog, or walk along a road, trail, or treadmill-- pretty much wherever you want! You get to run your race at your own pace! Next, once you have completed your 5k (3.17 miles), copy and paste this google form (https://forms.gle/p6EVHBJaxG2uBgNUA) for a chance to be featured on our Instagram and win an E-Gift card! Then, pick up the medal you earned on Sunday, December 13th in the student parking lot at Coral Glades (next to the football field) anytime between 10 am-12 pm. 

The goal of our virtual race is to engage the community in Good Karma's mission and help with their funds as much as possible. 100% of the proceeds of this race are being donated to Good Karma Pet Rescue. So, we want you to get up and get moving with your favorite furry friend and take part in this 5k to save the animals at risk of being euthanized.
