In order to conduct a socially distanced event, the race entries will be capped.

UPDATE: The ARR Fountain 5-0 race has now been rescheduled for March 27, 2021.

Arizona Road Racers is celebrating 50 years as a non-profit running club.  For our 5-0, we are hosting a 5-mile run and a 5 km run or walk. Each course will feature the Fountain Hills Fountain that is also celebrating 50 years running.   Note that if you are an ARR club member, this is a FREE race, but you need to register by February 28th.  The discount will be taken at check out.  

While we are planning to hold this event in person, we also are aware that things could change due to Covid 19 restrictions.  Therefore, we want to let you know that if our permit gets cancelled you will be able to get a refund, less the processing fee, transfer to the Virtual event or have your entry transferred to its rescheduled date later in the year or in 2022.

NEW! We have added a Virtual Option for the ARR Fountain 5-0.  If you are unable to run with us in person or are not yet comfortable with live races, we have added both a Virtual 5 mile and a Virtual 5K so you can still help us celebrate our 50th year running! You will get a customized bib, special 50th anniversary T-shirt and a commemorative finishers ceramic mug.  We will not be able to mail out the swag (due to its nature – glass!) so if you sign up, you will need to pick up your packet.  We are arranging for several dates and locations that will be announced closer to race day.  So, check back on Runsignup or the ARR website for more information.
