DESCRIPTION
The FIRST annual I GOT YOUR 6k will be held Saturday, November 7 on the beautiful grounds of Piedmont Technical College. This Veteran’s Day-theme run is perfect for the whole family! Hosted by Piedmont Technical College, the event will raise funds to establish a foundation scholarship that will benefit the school’s military affiliated students. In the military, the saying “got your six” means that “I’ve got your back.” No veteran stands alone at Piedmont Technical College. Come stand with us!
 
EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE
Location: The racecourse will start at Piedmont Technical College’s James Medford Family Event Center parking lot and TBD
 
Cost: 30 dollars for the 6k and 10 dollars for the kid's 1 mile fun run. T-shirts and goody bags are guaranteed only for participants who register by Oct. 21st. Registration is open through Nov. 7. 
 
Packet Pickup: Race packets, including numbered bibs and t-shirts, can be picked up at Piedmont Technical College’s front desk located at 620 Emerald Rd N. Greenwood, SC 29646, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6. On race day, packets pickup will be from 8-9:30 a.m. at the James Medford Family Event Center parking lot.
 
Race Day Schedule: Registration and packet pickup will be from 8-9:30 a.m. at the James Medford Family Event Center Parking Lot. Activities for participants and their families will begin at 9 a.m (bouncy houses, face painting). The timed race will begin at 10 a.m. The awards ceremony and door prize presentations will begin at noon. or as soon as times are tabulated.

Parking/Restrooms: Parking and restrooms will be available at Piedmont Technical College's James Medford Family Event Center.
