THE Swanbourne Endeavour is a gutsy, gruelling off-road endurance event that allows you to plunge into the wilds of Buckinghamshire – streams, woods, fields, haystacks, fire – for a cross-country endurance race that will push you to the limit and beyond. A test of determination spirit and camaraderie, but above all SPIRIT. Spirit is everything.

Brace yourselves for a challenge that will put fire in your belly, a smile on your face – and cover you in mud. A challenge that promises pain, sweat, tears and, we must stress again, mud. Not just any mud either, but some of the finest slippery, sticky, foot-sucking clay in all England.

The Swanbourne Endeavour is an event for all fitness levels,

The Endeavour Swanbourne 2020 is a “Last Man or Woman Standing” tournament race, taking place around the glorious Trafalgar Zone in Swanbourne.

After 10 years of Endeavour brutality we are celebrating this anniversary by changing the format to encourage those who fancy entering, but perhaps are not used to running like a gazelle.

 

There is no 5km or 10km routes – for the distance – the choice is yours. Keep running as many loops as you like (or are able to,) and the winner of both Elite and Challenge events is the last runner on the course, or the runner who has run the furthest at ‘close of play.’

 

With just a short distance of “backcountry” running, you can enjoy the fun of the Trafalgar Zone, even if you are not an out and out runner.

 

Elite runners still commit to undertake all obstacles.
