The Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC) is proud to kick off our 33rd Annual Race Against Violence 5K and Kids Run!

Watch HAWC and Presenting Sponsor AIG on KHOU 11 speak about RAV and the community joining together to honor and celebrate survivors.

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• Run the 5K timed or non-timed as an individual + option to fundraise


• Create or join a team for the 5K timed, non-timed, or kids run + fundraise


• Donate to a team, individual, or event


• Sponsor

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

• 7:30 - 8 a.m. – Pre-Race Warm Up


• 8 a.m. – Kids Fun Run Begins (The starting line will be on the corner of Waugh and D’Amico)


• 8:30 a.m. – 5K Race Begins (The starting line will be on the corner of Waugh and D’Amico)


• 9:30 a.m. – Awards Ceremony and Family Fun Fest


• 9 - 11 a.m. – Post race Family Fun Fest near start/finish line area

Join us for the post race Family Fun Fest near the start/finish line from 9 am-11 am. 
Activities at the festival include face painting, balloon twisting, inflatables, snacks, water, vendors, games, and music.
