Description

Join us for the Inaugural Zebra Dazzle 5K Walk/Run in the beautiful, scenic Rock Creek Park. Grab a few friends, co-workers or neighbors and come dressed in your Zebra Theme gear.  You will love the themed mile markers, great prizes and a nice route. Our charity will suppport Amyloidosis, a rare disease that is a consequence of abnormal protein (amyloid) deposits in body tissues and organs. Help us raise funds for further research via the Anyloidosis Foundation, increase awareness about this debilitating disease and learn how to recognize the symptoms.  Everyone is encouraged to attend. Prizes for the female and male winner in each age group. We will help train you for the walk/run with our Certified Running Coach. Valuable training tips will go out each month, along with pop-up runs/walks in the DC, MD and VA area.

RACE DAY ROUTE 

Update to start/Finish:

Route Start and end at Picnic Area 24.  Route continues toward Stage Road and continues  throughout the park for an out and back 5K. Turnaround points and volunteers will be along the course.
