IHM Mustang 5K Rescheduled to September 5, 2020

The IHM Mustang 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk has been postponed until Saturday, September 5 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in an effort to keep participants, volunteers and the community safe. The Governor’s stay-at-home order and social distancing guidelines prevent us from properly planning and preparing for the May 2 race date.  Also, the uncertainty surrounding possible extensions of the Governor’s orders and the timing of surge made it necessary to reschedule.

With everyone’s health and safety as our first priority, we will continue to monitor and assess the situation with our medical, city and state officials and take their guidance to ensure a safe environment that meets the standards of these officials. It is our hope to celebrate the IHM Mustang 5K together with you on Labor Day Weekend. Registrations for those who have already signed up will be honored on the new Sept. 5 race date. You don't have to make the trip to Churchill Downs or even Louisville to experience the Kentucky Derby! Grab your fancy hat and join over 600 runners and walkers to help support IHM School.

Join us at the 8th annual 5k race as we raise funds that will go toward updates to the all-purpose room. This vital space in the school serves many important functions including student lunchroom, aftercare services, scout meetings, Life Teen gatherings, funeral lunches, Parish meetings, Knights of Columbus events, PSR classes and much more.
