_Sandy Springs Education Force Road Race 5K/10K_

7th Annual Footprints for the Future 5K/10K.

Both races are USTAF Certified and AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifiers! These scenic routes begin at the City Springs Green and run through the heart of Sandy Springs.
Create teams and individual fundraisers to support SSEF and win big prizes!
All road race proceeds directly fund literacy programs in each of our eleven public schools in Sandy Springs! Please join us in celebrating and supporting our great organization so that we may continue to create targeted programs that educate, inspire, and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world.

FALL FUN HEALTH FEST - FREE!
After the race, health-related businesses from the metro area will host a fun and interactive post-race party on the Green, centered around health and well-being!

_COURSE DETAILS_

Hydration Stations

There will be three water stations on the course. Additional water will be available at the finish line.

First Aid

Cycle EMT members will be on-site, and Sandy Springs Police will be manning the course. If you see something or need someone please notify a police officer, the EMT, or a volunteer.

Restrooms

Convenient, indoor restrooms will be available at City Springs Green and are located off of Mt Vernon Hwy, to the right of the stage near the Farmer's Market.

_PARKING_

FREE City Springs deck parking is available to all runners/health fest attendees who enter the deck prior to 12:30pm.

NOTE: The Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market opens at 8:30am, so a stretch of Mount Vernon Hwy is closed for this market. However, you can still enter Mount Vernon Hwy from Roswell Road for great access to the parking deck.

_REFUNDS_

No refunds or transfers. This is a RAIN or SHINE event. However, we also reserve the right to cancel or modify the event due to extreme weather conditions. Registration fees are not refundable in the event of the race cancellation due to “Acts of God" or circumstances outside of our control. 
**We will alert registered runners via website and email on race morning if severe weather has canceled the event.**

_RACE DETAILS_

Chip Timing

Both events are professionally managed and timed. 5K & 10K participants will receive a race bib with a timing chip. Race Results will be posted at the Finish Line with plenty of bottled Water to cool off! The course will be well marked with signs, volunteers, traffic cones, and police.

PACKET PICK-UP
Pre-Race Check In (FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16th, 4:00-7:00pm)
Location: Phidippides, 6136 Roswell Road (South of Hildebrand, next to Domino’s Pizza)
To pick up someone else's bib at packet pick-up, registrants must:
Email us the name of the person picking up your bib AND
Provide us a copy of your valid government issued identification through the person picking up your bib.
Race-Day Check In (SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th, 6:45-7:30am)
Runners can elect to pick up bib/t-shirt on race day.

And with the full support from ALL OUR SCHOOLS and PRINCIPALS, many of our students, teachers, and administrators will also be in attendance! This race is also a great opportunity to take a run through Sandy Springs, enjoy the City Springs Green and our revitalized city center, check out the Heritage Sandy Springs Farmers Market, and show your support for Sandy Springs Public Schools and the programs SSEF provides our students.

Online registration closes on Wednesday, October 14, at 11:59pm.

_AWARDS_

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS - We will award 1st through 3rd place for all age categories, our Overall winners, and our Masters winners. Awards will be available for PICKUP this year at City Green at the Award Tent and winners will be announced throughout the event as results are posted. There will be NO Ceremony to keep the event moving. We will have a photo booth available for fun pictures! 

Some Individual Prizes Available: 1st through 3rd place in the Masters and Overall Catagory will win a 3 month membership to Concourse Athletic Club in addition to thier Medal!

CORPORATE AND SCHOOL TEAM AWARDS - for largest teams! We will announce these awards LIVE on stage for the corporate team with the most Registrations and the Spirit Cup for the School with the most Registrations. 

 

_COME TRAIN WITH AN OLYMPIAN_  NEW!
Leading up to the Race, Olympian Jeff Galloway (the first Peachtree Road Race winner) wants to help you train for a 5K/10K! Free training sessions for our runners!

Road race organizers, volunteers, and City Springs are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We will not have a secure area of safekeeping for your personal items. You will be responsible for anything you bring to the race. Any personal items kept in your car are at your own risk.
