Colors of Prevention Color Run is Cancelled
We are sad to announce that we will be cancelling the Colors of Prevention Color Run, which was rescheduled for August 22nd. Due to the current DHEC, CDC, and local guidelines/requirements, we feel that the timing is not in the best interest or safety of our community and supporters. We also do not feel that logistically we can provide all the needed safeguards required for us to hold this event.
We will be providing refunds for those that request them. You will receive a separate email that will give you the option to request a refund. We would love for you to consider your race registration as a donation to our agency. Most of our fundraising during the COVID-19 pandemic has been cancelled and these funds are needed to us to continue our services for our sexual assault survivors in Pickens County.

Description
Come out on August 22nd for the Colors of Prevention 5k. This will be a color run celebrating the prevention efforts of Pickens County Advocacy Center. After the race, we will have an awards ceremony, music, and food trucks (must purchase on your own).
* We will no longer have chip timing for this race due to safety precautions with COVID-19. The race will continue as long as Pickens County Schools and the Colleges return in person for the fall and Clemson City Parks remain open. We will stagger the start of the race with approximately 10 people starting at a time to ensure that we do not have large crowds running together in the race.
* The 1 mile fun run is free for kids age 11 and under. Participants ages 12+, must register and pay $20 (with shirt) or $10 (without shirt).
