Event Description
The Lakeland Rotary's 17th Annual Rump Roast Run 2020 is held the morning of the annual Beef-A-Rama Saturday, September 26th, in beautiful, Minocqua WI. Going back to our roots so to speak...both the 5k and 10k courses will begin again near down town Minocqua and finish at the trestle. The course hugs the shore of beautiful Lake Minocqua and both courses give way to wooded lanes and lead eventually to the Bearskin Trail, a former railroad bed. A children's 1-mile race rounds out the events and an awards ceremony caps off the morning with cow bells for the winners and a 16 - 18 lb beef roasts for the top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K.
Online registrations will be open until midnight Wednesday, Sept 23rd.
After the race, stay and enjoy Beef-A-Rama one of Wisconsin's wackier food festivals, including the Parade of Beef. Take your bib to the Rotary Beer Garden and receive a free beverage after the race.
Race Times
Calf Mile kids race begins at 8:30am. 5K & 10K race starts at 9:00am with a Gun Start.
Registration and Packet Pick-up
American Legion building across from the Minocqua Post Office on Friday & on Saturday morning.
Friday Night (Legion): from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm
Saturday Morning (Legion): 7:00 am until 8:45 am
Prizes **Awards to be held at the Rotary Beer Garden this year starting at 10:30am**
16 - 18 lb beef roasts for the top male and female Overall finishers in the 5K and 10K.
Age Group winners are awarded cow bells.
Please watch the Rump Roast Run Facebook page and download the Beef a Rama app to your phone to be kept updated on everything. Also, remember that we strongly encourage that races come pick up their shirts and bibs on Friday night at the American Legion. The race starts promptly at 9:00.

2020 MINOCQUA RUMP ROAST RUN
This form is to serve as the family registration option as outlined on the web-page above. Each family may consist of UP TO 6 people and they must be (moms, dads, brother, sisters, grandparents, etc.) and the cost with only be $80.00. The cavoite to this would be you will only be eligible to receive 2 shirts (total) so please take this into consideration when registering and select the appropriate shirt sizes.
