Description

The 7th annual Turbine Runner 5K is a fun run through part of Loring Park and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. This run is great for getting a sense for the city and a chance to run artfully with scuplture, meeting fellow runners, team building and raising funds to support the Hydropower Foundation which works to advance hydropower's role in our clean energy future through ​research and education. The Foundation is chartered in the US as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization.

Participant Benefits: Exercise with a great group, get a sense for the city, run artfully with sculpture, get a commemorative race bib, a race pin and snacks at the end.

Medals are awarded for:

Top Three Males
Top Three Females
Top Team Costume(s). Yes, we invite you to dress up for this run! C’mon, it’ll be fun!

Timing: While the Permit for the race does not allow chip timing, a time clock will be set for participants to note their own times. Times for the top 3 Male and top 3 Female times will be recorded by hand and published.
