Kentwood Glow in the Park

The Kentwood Glow in the Park will feature a variety of glow-themed activities including, a glow dance party under the park shelter, light up playground games and crafts, music, food and a .3-1.0 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The fun run/walk will start just before dusk and will take place at Pinewood Park. As participants complete the race, the path will be lit with glow sticks and other colorful lights. An after-party with music, dancing, snacks, and more will take place at Pinewood Park. We will both be using registration fees and donations from this event/run to support Kentwood Parks & Recreation’s Youth programs. These programs give children who can't afford other programs an opportunity to participate, have fun and learn with their peers! This is a self timed fun run/walk. Be prepared for slight inclines and some uneven surfaces throughout the course. A water station will be provided at the course start/finish line. Check In and On-Site registration will all take place the evening of the fun run/walk at Pinewood Park, 1999 Wolfboro Dr SE, Kentwood, MI 49508.

*Must be signed up for the fun run/walk by Friday October 1st to guarantee a shirt and medal!  (UPDATE - SUPPLIES FOR SHIRTS AND MEDALS HAVE OFFICIALLY RUN OUT! You can still participate in the fun run/walk with the $5 event registration but unfortunately we will not be able to provide a shirt or medal.)
