The 5K Race will begin and end on Miller Street in front of the field house. 

Miller street will be closed from N. 1st Street to Berry Drive.  Parking is available at the high school and East Leesville Elementary School.

DESCRIPTION

Friday night stadium lights, in Leesville, Louisiana isn’t just about high school football.  It’s about a community coming together, generation after generation to support their local team.  The Leesville High School Football program is one of the best in the state due in part to the support of our community, sponsorship and fans.  This Friday Night Lights 5K, 100 Yard Dash and Meet the Wampus Cats Event is a way to bring the community together for a post season party and player recognition night for the 2020 Varsity Team and raise funds for the 2021 Season, join the Gridiron Club and support the program by donating and participating in the run. 

Our goals:

Long Range - a new training/weight room ($150K)
Legacy Recognition - Honoring Wampus Cat Teams of the past
Transportation and feeding the team ($8-10K per season)
Jerseys for ALL seniors ($1000)
Incentive Items/Supplemental Gear for players ($5,000)
CleatsX50 ($500)

The 100 yard dash is for our 10 and under fans.  Each dasher will get a race t-shirt, a bag of goodies and downloadable photos with Wally, our cheerleaders and some of their favorite football players.

Say hello to the boys of fall at this great event, support our team and ensure they have everything they need to have a successful and winning season.

SWAG purchased before December 1st will be available for pick up at the high school in time for Christmas. 

PACKET PICK UP

Packet pick up Wed. Mar. , will take place from 1200-2100/12-9 p.m. at BubbaQues, 11275 Lake Charles Hwy, Leesville, LA 71446.  All race participants who dine at BubbaQues before, during or after they pick up their packet and mention the Wampus Cats Friday Night Lights 5K, 100yard Dash and Meet YOUR Cats will have 20% of their total bill donated back to the team!

AWARDS - This is a FUN run, we will have some gifts and give aways for our participants and fans!

COURSE

We will start at the field house and end on the 50 Yard Line!
