Lace up your sneakers and join us for the 20th Annual Riverwalk Run MAY 8TH - MAY 15TH.  Riverwalk Run is the signature fundraising event of The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

 

Planned for May 8th – May 15th, 2021 Virtually

Due to the ongoing pandemic the Riverwalk Run will be held virtually this year. The races offered will provide an opportunity for fitness and fun for the whole family as well as serious runners. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate. Options include running the 5k, 5 mile, or half marathon courses. 

 

Make an Impact​

This event raises funds to help members of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale continue improving the surrounding community such as human trafficking awareness, food insecurity, diversity and inclusion, childhood fitness and nutrition. The Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization serving the community and women within the organization. The all-volunteer membership is made up of women who are committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Our members work tirelessly to support important community issues impacting women and children throughout Broward County.​

 

Team Registration

If you are a company, or simply have a group of friends who want to participate in Riverwalk Run, we’d love for you to join us! Team registration can be easily created- found at the bottom of the first Registration page. 

 

Timing and Scoring

The Riverwalk Run is a timed event, and 5K and 5mile are USATF certified courses. Official timing and scoring will be provided by Split Second Timing, an accredited organization. 

Sponsorship Opportunities

We ask that you consider supporting the Riverwalk Run by becoming a sponsor. You will receive a donation receipt for tax purposes and various levels of recognition, both before and during the virtual event, based upon your level of sponsorship.
