On October 16, 2009, at the young age of 2½, Wren passed away at Gillette Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Wren suffered a head injury while at daycare. Wren’s family is grateful for the help of the doctors and nurses at Regions & Gillette Children’s hospitals. We are honored to donate a total of $71,500, thus far, to Gillette Children’s hospital in memory of Wren. The money raised at the run/walk is donated to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Gillette Children’s Hospital.

Wren’s family also gives out two annual scholarships ($500 a piece) to local students going into the medical field, the total scholarship amounts donated is currently $7,500.
