Starts Saturday September 26th, 2020

London,

Official Website

Description

We're excited to announce The Broadgate Tower Run Up,, and we are looking forward to sharing with you some exciting developments as well as even more opportunities to get involved in this annual fixture in the stair climbing calendar.

At The Broadgate Tower Run Up 2019 we had over 300 participants, completing over 1,000 ascents of The Broadgate Tower, and we are set to smash through those numbers in 2020 at the UK's only stair climbing event in which competitors can compete for a charity of their choice or opt to enter directly through Total Motion.

In addition to the single climb options we will of course be back with the 1/4 Vertical Mile and Full Vertical Mile categories, hugely popular for those looking to super size their challenge! Additionally we will have a 1/2 mile and ultimate challenge (all categories) as well as a virtual climb.

After a successful partnership with Step Jockey in 2018 & 2019, we are proud to continue our collaboration in 2020. As transformers of workplace health promoting the use of stairs in the workplace we are excited to bring their virtual challenges to life in a real-world competition with our StepJockey corporate wave.  Please contact us if you are a corporate wishing to get involved.

Fire Fighters

The fire fighters were a real focal point of The Broadgate Tower Run Up in previous years, and will be again this time round as we see close up how fit and determined they are.  Amazingly they were climbing in their kit, weighing up to 30kgs, and often climbing multiple times. Just wow!

Elite Race

After a hugely competitive wave in 2018 & 2019 we look forward to welcoming back our international elite stair climbers to Broadgate Tower for 2020.  As well as experienced climbers we also offer high level athletes from all disciplines the opportunity to race in this wave.  Entries are limited, but applications will be considered on a case by case basis.
