You think you’re good? You think you’re tough? Come try our course…IT’LL EAT YOU UP! The Cannibal is a 5/10/15K run or a 5K walk that starts in beautiful downtown Hannibal, and proceeds south along the Mississippi River and straight up one of Hannibal’s toughest hills, the infamous Lover’s Leap, before returning to the downtown area. The Cannibal is a U.S.A. Track and Field certified course.

Due to COVID-19 and the many changes we have made to this year’s race to help ensure the safety of everyone involved, we have dubbed this “The Lost Year”. Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Heroes Fund at Hannibal Regional Foundation.  

The Cannibal is held during National Tom Sawyer Days, which offers an assortment of activities for the entire family. Event details and schedule

NO PETS, BICYCLES OR STROLLERS ALLOWED ON CANNIBAL COURSE.

Entry fee includes: race registration, technical race shirt and finisher's medal.

Hannibal Regional Foundation appreciates your participation in the Hannibal Cannibal and would like you to know that all fees associated with registering online are absorbed by the Foundation.

Early Registration - Now thru June 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm Cost: $25.00

Late Registration - June 16, 2020 thru July 1, 2019 at 11:59 pm (online registration closes) Cost:  $30.00

Packet Pickup - NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP

Early packet pickup begins Friday, June 19, 2020 at Hannibal Regional Foundation, 175 Shinn Lane.

Drive thru packet pickup - Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Foundation Offices, 175 Shinn Lane and July 3, 2020 from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm

Rolling start – to encourage social distancing, runners may start anytime between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. All awards will be mailed to winners. Results will be posted at 10:00 am race day on HannibalCannibal.com.
