LSUE is hosting the third annual Color Dash 5K on Saturday, August 29 on the beautiful LSUE campus and virtually.

Virtual Race:
If you select the Virtual Color Dash 5K option, you will be sent your race packet in the mail, which will include your Color Dash 5K t-shirt, a packet of paint, and some LSUE swag.  You will run your race any time on Saturday, August 29 from anywhere in the world, tossing your packet of paint in the air on yourself, and you will submit your race time by 11pm that same day. Post-race photos will be submitted and shared on social media to show your colorful achievement!

On-Campus Race:
If you select the On-Campus Color Dash 5K option, you will pick up your race packet on campus the day before the race, and you will be assigned a start-time based on your anticipated finish time. Racers will be asked to come to campus on a staggered schedule.  Racers will be given a window of time to arrive to campus and will wait in their cars until they are invited to report to the starting line via text message notification.  Racers will gather at the start line in groups no greater than 5 at a time and will start individually at 20-second intervals.  Racers will be asked to run to the right of the road and to pass fellow racers at least 6-feet to the left if they must pass a racer.

Color stations will be located at miles 1 and 2, and runners will run through clouds of powder color, crossing the finish line in a colorful flash!

Non-student Registration: $20 prior to August 22
Non-student Registration: $30 on and after August 22
Student Registration: FREE*

REGISTRATION ENDS ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 27 AT MIDNIGHT

*LSUE students must be registered for the Fall 2020 semester and have a current LSUE student ID.
