All Children's Fun Run participants who register before November 6, 2020 will receive a custom medal. We will have socially distanced swag pick up dates - more details to come!
You can choose to run on our Certified 5K Course in Phoenixville, or any other location of your choice! To map your own 5K (3.1 miles) we suggest using apps like Strava or Map my Run which are free and track runs with your phone’s GPS. On the Strava app is an option to purchase the premium access which is popular among experienced runners and comes with route suggests for runs. Map my Run also has suggested nearby routes included without the premium access. Some suggested places to run include along the Schuylkill Canal, French Creek Trail, Charlestown Park, Mount Misery Trailhead, Kimberton Park, and around the Phoenixville Area High School. We recommend to try out the app you plan to use before you decide to do the race. Always be safe and aware of your surrounding during your run.
Proceeds generated from the race benefit the Phoenixville Jaycees Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change in their communities. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, the Phoenixville Jaycees Foundation has helped to raise over $23,000 to feed local families.
