Description

Viking Dash Trail Run Charlottesville will be held at Walnut Creek Park in Charlottesville using the 525 acre park's extensive trail system.  In addition to the trails, park amenities include open spaces, play area for the kids, swimming (from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day), canoe/kayak rental, fishing, disc golf & 15 miles of bike trails.

9:45 am - Mandatory Race Overview & Safety Briefing
10:00 am - 13.1 Start
10:10 am - 10K Start
10:20 am - 5K Start
11:20 am - 5K Awards (Top 3 OA - M/F)
11:40 am - 10K Awards Ceremony (Top 3 OA - M/F)
12:00 pm - 13.1 Awards Ceremony (Top 3 OA - M/F)
3:00 am - All Athletes Must Finish

10K - Bluewheel Trail + C'Ville Bike & Tri Just Climb It Trail
13.1 - Bluewheel Trail + C'Ville Bike & Tri Just Climb It Trail + Wilkins Way

AID STATIONS.  Aid stations will be be located every 1.5 to 2 miles along each course and will include:  Water, Gatorade, Pepsi, Cuties, bananas, Fig Newtons, min-pretzels, California Raisins, blueberries & chia seeds.  Sunscreen will also be available.  

AWARDS.  Every finisher receives their choice of a 7' Battle Axe or Mjolnir (Thor's Hammer).  Overall awards for the top 3 The Top 3 men and women in each event:  5K, 10K & 13.1.

PACKET PICKUP.  Race morning only. 

RACE PHOTOS.  A couple days after the race photos will be uploaded in a folder on the Cal Tri Events Facebook Page so they can be tagged and shared.
