THE 14TH ANNUAL JENNY'S LIGHT 5k, 10k & KIDS 1k RUN

We are SO excited to announce that the 2022 Jenny's Light Run will be back IN-PERSON at Vasona Park on Sunday May 22! We hope you can join us in honoring and supporting mothers & families dealing with perinatal mood disorders. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Supporting Mamas. They provide information, resources, support & hope to families coping with perinatal mood disorders.  

Packet Pick-Ups (people can pick up for friends & family): 
     (1)  Friday, May 20 from 12:30 to 1:30p at Santa Cruz Running Company (1664 Soquel Dr, Santa Cruz)

     (2)  Saturday, May 21 from 10a to 12p at Sports Basement (1875 S Bascom Ave Suite 240, Campbell); 20% coupon available to race participants -- be sure to             have it printed or available on your phone. Coupon is also valid online.  

     (3)  Sunday, May 22 from 7:30a to 8:30a at Gateway Pavilion in Vasona Park

Race Day:

  7:30am - Gates to Vasona Park open 
  


• Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods or in Vasona Park for $6. There is a parking lot just past the Gateway Pavilion, where we will be holding registration.


• Start/Finish/Registration will be at the Gateway Pavilion, on the right shortly after entering the main gates at Vasona Park. Same-day registration will be available.


• 8:40 - Kids 1k start


• 9am - 10k start


• 9:05 - 5k start


• 9:15 - stroller 5k/10k start


• 10am - awards!

Virtual Runners:
You're welcome to join us on race day wherever you are or choose your own day to run. Please be sure to share photos on social media with the tag #JLR22 and #supportingmamas. We'd love to share your race-day photos! Be creative because we'll be awarding our virtual runners with the following prizes: (1) most creative route (2) best attire or bib (3) best view! Winners will be notified via e-mail and prizes sent shortly thereafter. Race giveaways will be mailed within four weeks of the run.

  DECEMBER 19th:  Take advantage of our (one day only!) special entry fee of $19 for the 5k or 10k, and $9 for the Kids (10 & under) 1k!

Jenny’s Light was founded fourteen years ago following the death of Jenny and Graham on December 19, 2007. Our mission was to improve & save lives by increasing awareness of all perinatal mood disorders, including postpartum depression. We have merged our efforts and fundraising with San Francisco Bay Area based Supporting Mamas. Please help us continue to shine a light on maternal mental health. Thank you for your support!
