Runners & Friends,

We have made the decision, for this year, to merge the RocktoberFest Half Marathon and 5K into the 2021 Novant Health Charlotte Marathon on Saturday, November 13.

This decision comes after much internal discussion that considered many factors, most notably to provide you with a fun and rewarding experience in a fall season that has become crowded with events that were rescheduled from the winter or early spring.

If you have already registered for the RocktoberFest Half Marathon, you will be automatically transferred to the Novant health Charlotte Half Marathon. If you registered for the 5 Miler, you will be automatically transferred to the 5K. If, by chance, you are one step ahead of us and have also already registered for a Novant Health Charlotte Marathon event, please send an email to [email protected] so we can work out another mutually agreeable alternative. For those of you who are collecting all six of the 2021 Six Pack medals, you will get a RocktoberFest medal for your efforts!
