Dave's Marathon Training Group gives you the benefit of personal coaching through a training plan designed to enable you to achieve your goal. The Marathon and Half Marathon program will begin the first week of January 2020.  The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon will be the focus event of all the programs offered. Each program will have different pace groups to meet your needs and assigned coaches for each group.  Come out and join hundreds of other runners just like you.


The Beginner

If you are looking to complete your first half marathon, we will get you to the finish line with a detailed training program that will gradually build your endurance. It is designed to get you from the start line all the way through 13. 1 miles to the finish line.


The First-Timer

You’ve got some experience with running the half marathon or shorter distances. Maybe you've completed the half before and are just looking to get to the next level. Let us build up your mileage and get you to the full 26.2 miles feeling fit!


The Boston Qualifier

If you want to make a run at the grand daddy of all marathons, our experienced staff will craft a plan that will put you in the best possible position to hit your Boston Qualifier!

Findlay Location

Findlay MIT meets at Robert A. Malcolm Athletic Center on the University of Findlay campus for indoor track workouts, and the meeting day will be updated on this site when it's finalized. The long runs are Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM leaving from the Findlay YMCA.
