Description

The 8th Annual SOFITCITY Fitness Festival features a 10K and 5K fun fitness experience for all levels. SOFITCITY Day is a day for play, when people of all speeds, and sizes run this town for a healthier city, fitter families and fitter kids. Whether you're a novice runner or avid walker, this fun festival will inspire your fitness journey! Enjoy a costumes, an 80's dance party, and more! Refreshments and totally rad medals await you at the end. Grab your wigs, shoes, capes, and masks for a totally rad 80s rave!

The SOFITCITY 5K & 10K features a scenic run on the Fairfield Linear Park Path. Running from the Solano Community college, the first 3 miles of the path follow closely beside Interstate 80 through open farmland, passing some light industrial areas along the way. Mature trees provide considerable shade, and small bridges provide passage across several small streams.

Register early as this event is limited to 1000 participants.

Official Event Packet Pick-up

Packet Pick-Up is at Fleet Feet Sports 354 Merchant Street on 

• Saturday October 12  from 2:30pm-5:00pm and on 

• Race day (Sunday October 13)  at Solano Community College from 7:00-8:30am. 

Race packet will include any pre-registered t-shirt, goody bag and race bib. You may also register additional participants, make any changes and pick up your packet for a friend or family member. Your packet will be available for pickup at the Race Day Expo and on race day if you cannot attend for any reason. Your bib must be worn to ensure you are timed and scored.

Proceeds benefit the Mayor's Marathon Club and area nonprofits that support healthier children.

 

Event details and schedule

Parking Event parking is located at the Solano Community College near the Softball fields. We suggest you arrive by 745am and carpool if possible. Road closures will delay access after 8am.  

Course Flat and fast closed road course.

Timing Please wear your bib to be properly timed and scored. Milers receive bibs, but are not timed.

Medals - Medals are reserved for 5K and 10K participants registered by Sept 13, 2019. Medals are claimed after the finish at the awards tent. Milers do not receive medals.

T-Shirts - Custom event t-shirts reserved for all those that register by Sept 29, 2019. T-shirt sizes must be selected during online registration.
