Register TODAY and help local HEROES!  The Heroes' Challenge is a Race and Fundraiser for local military Heroes held on the morning of the 4th of July.  100% of the proceeds and donations go directly to supporting local Heroes' and their families when "Right Now" assistance is needed!

The Heroes' Challenge Race includes 3 Walk/Run distances: a 10K, 5K, 1K, with one general start time.   The course is on the river dike, so it's a zero-elevation, in-out course, along the beautiful Columbia River, with majestic Mt. Hood standing sentinel on the horizon, as you travel eastward. Opening Ceremony begins at 9:00am.

Thank you for having the Backs of Heroes!  Every paid challenger receives the official, The Heroes' Challenger's Dog-tag and Return-to-Base (RTB) refreshments. Plus there is an awe-inspiring Eagle in Flight trophy for the first man and woman to return base in the 10K and 5K.  So register Today and have the Backs of local military members and their families, who need us to have their backs in times of need!

Event Schedule... Day of registration opens at 8am.  Opening Ceremony begins at 9am, ALL RUNS WILL START immediately afterwards. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 10:30am.  A Patriot's $5 Pancake breakfast will be held from 8am to 11:30am, followed by a Children's Parade at noon.  11 to 3pm will be food vendors, live music, a variety of craftsman booths and festivities, plus a beer garden!

'Right Now' Raffle!   Tickets will also be sold to help support Point Man Ministries' "Right Now" fund.  The first grand prize is a night and dinner for 2 at Skamania Lodge, and the 2nd grand prize is Pendleton Woolen Mill's Grateful Nation wool blanket, and a set matching coffee mugs. The drawing will be at the end of the end of the day and you do not need to be present, to win.

Recognition is amazing... Official Heroes' Challenge Dog-tags will be presented to all challengers.  An American Eagle in flight trophy will be awarded for the first man and the first woman to RTB (Return-To-Base) in the 10K & 5K.  In addition, 2nd and 3rd place Event Medals will be awarded in those events. These 2-events are professionally timed by Scovel Racing. The 1K walk/run is offered as a fun honoring walk and is not timed.
